So, tell me, what do you fancy doing this weekend?

(* = What do you feel like doing?)

Remember ‘I fancy’ is followed by an ing or a noun.

I fancy relaxing, reading my book and playing with my dog.

A slang/informal way of using I fancy means I like someone romantically or physically.   For example, I fancy Hugh Jackman! My friend fancies the pizza delivery man.

Heatwave

Here in Madrid there is a heatwave (*a period, a few days or a week) of extreme heat.  I’m boiling = I’m extremely hot.

So all I fancy doing is lying down, eating an ice cream 🍦 and having a fan on me (*fan= ventilator).  What about you?  Tell me in the comments.

 Remember:

Heat = noun,

Hot = adjective

Don’t Stop Me Now!

Here is some great music for a Friday! With subtitles available in English and Spanish so you can actually see what Freddie Mercury is singing about in this great song!
