In my area in Madrid a lot of the men have beards recently. I don’t know if it is the hipster influence or all the musicians round here or just the European fashion. My husband also now has a beard! I wasn’t sure at the beginning but I think I love it! I like beards! Yes, I have surprised myself even. So, I decided to have a look at the history of the beard and also was surprised at the different names of the variations of face hair!

Today, I have decided that you should practice using a dictionary for the vocabulary you can’t work out (calculate) from context. So you won’t find any vocabulary notes here today. Write down the new words you learn and study them this week to learn them and extend your vocabulary.
